Mrs Tasoula Hadjitofi(Walk of  Truth founder) attended on June 16, at the Acropolis Museum the 50th anniversary of Europa Nostra.  Nicolas Rivard (student of the British School, The Netherlands) presented world-renowned tenor and Europa Nostra President Mr. Plácido Domingo with a book, on behalf of Walk of Truth (WOT).

The book titled “Protecting Art from Crime, Disputes and War”, was prepared by students of the British Schools in The Netherlands and was also given to Mrs. Androulla Vassiliou, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth. The publication is the result of a school project, called  ‘Seals of Protection’ initiated by the Dutch-based NGO, Walk of Truth (WoT) whereby, children expressed the importance for the protection of cultural heritage through their drawings.  Europa Nostra participated in this project by contributing an article written by their General Secretary, Ms. Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović.
